Dr. Perez brings a patient-first approach to general and cosmetic dentistry at Punta Gorda Dental Care, serving families throughout Punta Gorda and Charlotte County. He believes exceptional dentistry goes beyond clinical skill, it’s about building trust and making every patient feel genuinely cared for, whether he’s performing a routine checkup or a smile-transforming cosmetic procedure.

Dr. Perez comes from a dental family and has been in the field since 2019. Before focusing on his career as a dentist, he gained hands-on experience in nearly every role a dental office has to offer—working as a dental assistant, sterilization technician, office manager, and front desk/patient care coordinator. That firsthand experience gives him a unique, ground-level understanding of what makes a dental visit truly comfortable for patients, and it shapes how he leads and supports his team today.

He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Universidad Iberoamericana in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, in 2019. He went on to complete a two-year PGY1 and PGY2 residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) through NYU Langone Health in Worcester, Massachusetts, completing his training in 2025. Dr. Perez is an active member of the American Dental Association and speaks both English and Spanish, allowing him to serve a wider range of patients in the Punta Gorda community.

For Dr. Perez, the most rewarding part of dentistry is knowing he can make a positive difference in his patients’ lives—whether that means relieving someone’s pain, restoring their smile and confidence, or helping them build better long-term oral health habits. He focuses on creating a welcoming, compassionate environment from the moment patients arrive, taking time to listen to their concerns and explain treatment options clearly so they feel comfortable, respected, and confident in their care.



In his free time, Dr. Perez enjoys exploring his new surroundings in his free time. An avid traveler, he finds that experiencing new places, cultures, and cuisines broadens his perspective and fuels the compassionate approach he brings to patient care. He also enjoys hiking and horseback riding. A former competitive football player in the Dominican Football League, he carries the lasting sense of teamwork, discipline, and resilience from those days into his work as a dentist.
